Gaudí's city, still building his Sagrada Família — a basilica begun in 1882 and not finished yet, 140-odd years on. Melting Modernista façades along Passeig de Gràcia, the medieval alleys of the Gothic Quarter, old civil-war bunkers looking down over the rooftops, and a proper beach at the end of it all. Loud, warm, and never quite done.
