Austria — The Dispatches

Dornbirn

The main town of Vorarlberg, Austria's westernmost corner, tucked where the Alps drop to Lake Constance — a lake so shared between Austria, Germany, and Switzerland that the three never agreed a border across the water. Cable cars up the Karren, the Rappenloch gorge, the island town of Lindau, and a cheeky cycle over the border into Liechtenstein. Quiet, green, and handy for three countries.
